“ It is one of the recommended seafood restaurants in Makassar. We visited the place on the weekday, so the restaurant was not so crowded. The place is big and clean. We also could feel some "chinese-legendary-old" restaurant vibe here. The service was quick, not as friendly as what (maybe) non Makassar expects if we visit a restaurant. Ordered fried fillet kudu (90 K), otak bakar (8 K), kangkung asap (90 K), and nasi putih (8 K); excl. tax. We could say that for seafood, the price was quite amazing (the price is relatively decent. Note that 1 portion of fried kudu cost us the same as for the kangkung/water spinach). The taste was good, especially the kudu ”

“ Most famous Chinese Seafood restaurant in Makassar. They have cooler box placed at the entrance for you to choose your seafood, (fish, crab or lobster). The frozen fish & lobster however doesn't smell fresh (fishy) to those familiar in eating live/fresh fish; the crab is fresh though as it's live. There is a few long tables here to cope with groups that usually come here rather than a few people or individual. The coconut here is huge. The Otak-Otak is different than those of Malaysia (fish paste with spices making it tasty), here is like Fish Paste made like Fish Ball texture made in long strips and you have to eat it with their lime spiced sauce (that is on the table that gives flavour) to get the full flavour. The Black Ink Squid dish is good as its fragrant. The big crabs are meaty and tasty, highly recommended. The Brinjal & Cockle dish are average. The Salted Egg Long Bean dish is below average. The Box Fish (Kudu-Kudu fish) is tasty & recommended as its only available in Makassar however do not order the Grill version as the meat will be dry & chewy; get the fried version to enjoy the full flavour. ”
“ The place is humble ordinary building can use some upgrading but the food... Wow..awesome gastronomic hehehe. Enak banget 10x. I am surprised one after another nice dishes.. I can eat nonstop..bring it on..heheh crab meat, prawns, fishes...all of them is almost perfect. A bit pricy yes of course. ....but if your tastebud will love it. they have good variety for seafood. My godmother had an event just the other day with the big family on engagement after gathering before they left for Jakarta and HK. I think twenty thirty people were there at the same time... I think everyone enjoyed the food as well. Bravo . Verdict. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ”
